I have always been interested in craft. Both my grandmothers knitted, one was always making her own clothes and my mother has always been an avid sewer and quilter. I always loved using my hands, from making clay modles at school to drawing and sewing at home. I completed my Art Foundation with a love of textiles and mixed media but it was during my first year at University that I found my true passion: Glass. From there on I have been exploring the material and the techniques behind it.
